This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you must not create, upload or share with ShotPoet, and how we enforce these rules. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to your Inputs, such as prompts, reference images and annotations, and to the Outputs generated from them.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to create, upload or share content that:
- involves minors in any sexual or sexually suggestive way, including fictional, drawn or AI-generated depictions. We report such material to the relevant authorities.
- is sexually explicit, pornographic or sexually suggestive, including nudity for sexual purposes.
- swaps a person's face onto another person, body or scene, or otherwise creates a deepfake.
- changes the face, body or identity of a real person shown in an image, such as their facial features, expression, age or body shape, or replaces them with someone else.
- uses the face, body or likeness of an identifiable real person without their explicit consent, or places a real person in a fabricated, compromising or degrading situation.
- depicts a real public figure, such as a politician or celebrity, in a photorealistic image.
- impersonates a real person or organization, or is intended to deceive, defraud or harass others, including fabricated news, election disinformation and fake endorsements.
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.
- shows graphic violence or gore, promotes terrorism, violent extremism or self-harm, or threatens, harasses or incites hatred or violence against any person or group.
- forges identity documents, receipts, banknotes or signatures, or facilitates fraud, scams, weapons, illegal drugs or other illegal activity.
2. Photos of real people
You may upload a photo of a real person only if you have the rights to the photo and the consent of every identifiable person in it. You can change the background, lighting, colors or surrounding objects of such a photo. Edits that change the person themselves, including their face, body or identity, are not allowed.
3. Other restrictions
You also must not:
- bypass or probe content checks, safety filters, rate limits, credit charges or other restrictions.
- access the Service with bots, scrapers or other automated means, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service, or use the Service or its Outputs to build a competing AI model or service.
- interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, including by uploading malware or placing an unreasonable load on our systems.
- present Outputs as made by a human where the law requires AI-generated content to be disclosed.
4. How we enforce this policy
- Before each generation, an AI model automatically checks your prompt and reference images against this policy. If a request is blocked, nothing is generated, the result shows the reason and its credits are returned.
- Model providers also apply their own safety systems and usage policies, which may block a prompt or a result. A blocked result counts as failed and its credits are returned.
- We may review blocked requests and reported content, remove content, refuse generations, and suspend or close accounts that violate this policy. Severe or repeated violations lead to account closure.
- Automated checks can miss violations or block acceptable requests. You remain responsible for your Inputs and for how you use your Outputs.
5. Reporting
To report content that violates this policy or infringes your rights, email support@shotpoet.com with enough detail for us to find it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the date at the top.
